Born on 27th October 1954. B.Sc with Maths Hons. In 1976 from Calcutta University, Govt. College of Arts Calcutta 1976 Academy of Fine Arts Calcutta 1977 from 1977 to 1981 Sketch Club. Participated in Art exhibitions since 1978. Solo exhibition at Academy of Fine Arts, Calcutta in 1979. Group shows in 1978, 79, 80, 81, 81, 83, 84, and 89 in Academy of Fine Arts, Calcutta. Group drawing exhibition in 1979, 80, 81, 82, 83 and 84 at Academy of Fine Arts, Calcutta. Solo Drawing Exhibition at Bajaj Art Gallery in Mumbai in 1995. Solo painting exhibition organized in Centre Art Gallery, Calcutta in 1996. Academy Award in 1978 Calcutta. England 1994. his works are with International Finance Corporation, Harvest Gold, Doreatha Seidentop Germany and several other important collections in India and Abroad. Arabinda currently resides and paints in Calcutta
