B. R. Bodade was born in Shahpur in 1952. A self taught painter. He has had several solo shows including Dhoomimal Art Centre, 1997, 2001, 06; 2001,02, Shridharani Gallery; 1994,96 Triveni Kala Sangam; Kalidas Art Gallery, Ujjain and Snihasta’92. His important participations include Hongkong, 2001; Art Today, 2002; London, 1999, 2003; Kala Parishad, Bhopal; National Exhibition, Banglore & Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal among many others. He has been awarded MP State Award, Kalidas Chitrakala, Achal Alloys Best Award & Dr Wakankar Smriti Chitrakala Award. His works are found in collections like Hero Group, IFC, Apollo group among many others. He works in Indore.
