Manoj Kachangal was born in 1979 in Shadhora. He obtained his MFA & BFA from Govt. Institute of Fine Arts, Indore. He received the Raza Award from MP Kala Parishad, Bhopal; Bronze Medal from Avantika, Gwalior & the Meera Gupta Merit Scholarship, Indore. Solo shows include Dhoomimal Art Centre, New Delhi; Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata & Central Museum, Indore among others. He has participated in many group shows, which include “Summer Show”, CIMA Gallery, Kolkata; Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi & Galerie Muller & Plate, Munchen, Germany Contemporary Indian Painting Exhibition, Kunststation Kleinsassen Art Gallery, Fulda, Germany & the Raza Award Exhibition Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal among others. His works are in collections of GIFA, AIFACS, Birla Academy of Art & Culture & private collections in USA, Germany, France & Nepal & Raza Foundation, Mumbai. He works in Noida.
