Some of the modernist critics might think him to be an escapist, or not part of mainstream ideology and concern. India is not represented by the mouthpiece of a few in Mumbai and Delhi alone, but its true psyche lies in the thousands of little villages cradled in nature, which are sprinkled all along the length and breadth of this country and truly make up this nation. He addresses those primordial sensibilities in man which no one can deny, for in actuality man is a part of nature, and when alienated from her for too long he cannot be happy in the eventuality. If only we had time to listen to her, a resonance is there between the nature outside and our inner nature. The rustic joys have a completeness which is far more fulfilling than the pleasures gotten by heating the adrenalin from a roller-coaster ride or visiting the clubhouse!
